Hello Newbee here

#1 Post by RoyK »

Hello, My Name is Roy Kohrogi from Torrance CA.

I used to be a member of subaru 360 driver club & had 2 subaru 360.

now I want to get back and find myself a Subaru 360 sedan.

since I can speak and write Japanese, I can help members with translation needs.

Back in late 60's my dad drove 360 station wagen as a family vehicle in Japan.

Roy - good to hear from you, it will be great to have you back in the Club! Everyone who has the Book of Reprints knows your name, from the articles you sent in about the 360 pickup in Japan and the rotary-powered 360.

Ed Parsil, Tucson AZ
300,000+ miles on Subaru 360s since Feb. 1975, and have never (yet) been stuck on the road with one!

Welcome Roy!

Might I suggest looking at the Young in PA? I think it is still available? It seems to be a nice package deal with spare engine and extras. Check the for sale section of the forum for more details. Not my car, just a suggestion.

Good luck with your search and glad you are here.

Welcome,
Any chance you can get parts from Japan? I see a lot of things for sale there, but most of the sellers won't ship to the US. I'm sure you will find a car to buy, it's not as hard as it seems, there are a lot out there.

Tom,

a reason why they don't ship the parts to the states: they don't understand English and never done business with us.
how do you treat email with Japanese ? mostlikely igonre right?

I already contacted Sanyo in Japan for a member and translated more clear deatails for a member.a part request was submitted in Japanese so that,
they can answer our question more clearly and hope can ship parts over to us.
do have a contact where can obatin parts and ship over to us.
includes friend who is a car dealer who can ship complete vehicles.

we will talk more as progress.

Roy
