Hmmm that is odd. I'm not for sure, but, I thought only club members could post. I just assumed you signed up. Maybe you found a loophole?
The headlight covers are Subaru 360 SS ( like super sport ) ........really rare......really desireable...... really expensive!

Re: just bought a 360 sedan
Get used to people gawking and asking questions. Once you start driving you'll really be hooked. It's so much fun! You'll notice people will do illegal U-turns to try and get a better glimpse of you car rolling down the street. I've had people throw down their yard tools, run out in the street, hail...

Re: just bought a 360 sedan
Great Idea. Be sure to post some progress pix of the modified VW floor pan surgery. Seems like that should work.
I have a bunch of relatives that live in Avon Lake Ohio. I'll tell them to keep eyes peeled for a Subaru 360 sedan scooting around in the Columbus area.

Re: just bought a 360 sedan
Welcome Saturn! I wondered what happened to that particular car. It sounds like it found a fine home! I think you can drive that car and have a TON of fun with not too much work. They are pretty simple cars.

Sure no problem, I wish I could be of more help. Billy Paul in Florida has reproduced the lenses for the interior lights ( I think I read that in the last newsletter) and is trying to reproduce the steering column covers. I use 1980 Suabru 1600cc GL engine oil filler caps for van gas caps. I've had ...

Welcome Anthony, The book of reprints will keep you busy for awhile reading about what is availble for the vans. Your list looks typical for most van owners, some parts of which are very-very tough items to find. I need most of those parts you listed.....and, wish I had some extras to offer. Paul G....

Whoa. I'm glad you work in a body shop Craig!. You have vision. ( and I thought my vans were bad ) Amazingly, neither van appears to have rust.... you're 'Very Lucky' there..... Looks like a lot of the rear glass is missing........... I think you could make 1 good van of the two ( MAYBE a go...

Hi Rick,
Great story....
Do you mean this van with the three dogs?

If so. Uh oh!.
Them's some smelly pups.
Huge fun nonetheless. You'll love it!

WELCOME! That is a GREAT story. Subaru 360 blood runs thru you brother! You may be the youngest person on this board to have the 360 bug. I wish I knew something about the auto clutch transmission to help you out, but I don't. Ed may know how the autoclutch works. Hopefully, you and your car will be...

Hi Tony, Do you have any pictures of your electric motor setup? I'd like to see in particular the sprocket and chain parts. I assume you used the cooling fan side of the Subaru 360 engine.? Can sprockets be found that would fit in place of the 360 cooling fan? The crank has a keyway, is well support...

Hi Tony! This may be off topic, I remember talking to you a long time ago when no one believed you installed the Katana engine in your van. I have a question. Would you want to sell any of your conversion parts. Jackshaft, sprockets, Katana engine?. I realize your may be using your jackshaft and or ...

Jamie, I'm bummed to say the Ultimate Subaru club has no way to upload pictures. Seems it hacks off even the longtime subscribers. I thought it was just because I was new. Been trying since you suggested :( very frustrating I am SO looking forward to a photo friendly Subaru 360 atmoshphere. I hope y...

A key element for me would be to able post gallery pictures easily. I think the old message board could have really benefitted from that. Besides, we all want to see your 360 projects as they near completion. You got lots of time to work on those don't you Jamie? Seriously though, I hope this new si...
