Re: New 360 Van owner, Michigan

I don't know if you are still looking for glass but... windshields are available from Garm on ebay (micro image) and all of the other pieces are flat and can be made. The glass you want is tempered, clear and 3mm thick. This place in Washington lists 3mm glass as something they do. The glass on each...

Re: New member from Woodinville Wa Looking for Stanley

The key is the model year. The Subaru 360 van you saw was imported with 360 sedans and trucks in 1969-1970. They are hard to come by but not imposable. Patience and through searches will do you well. Ebay, Craigslist and driving around looking in yards and field may yield your reward.

You may want to put headrests on that roll bar. Even a slight hit from the back would crack your skull.

Re: New member Shelton Wa

This is the puller I used for the rear: http://www.amazon.com/OTC-6980-Heavy-Brake-Puller/dp/B004CGOGFS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1431557792&sr=8-1&keywords=drum+puller The front should come off easy. If there is a groove worn in the drums and you yank the drums off you will break very hard to find bra...

Re: New member

Front or rear? For either you may need to back the adjuster off through the slot in the drums. The rear needs a drum puller.

Re: Is UTC Necessary?

In the account preferences you can set your time zone. Everyone should see the posts in their own timezone. I'm posting this at 1:40 Roger. If you see a different time you need to change your time zone.

You shouldn't need a fuel pump (unless you have a non-stock fuel tank that is lower than the carb). Looking good! Nice progress!

The steering wheel looks like '68 or earlier. There should be a date of manufacture by the VIN number.

Welcome! Posting some picture will help decipher what you have. the bumpers can be straightened and re-chromed. There is a very active Ausi member who may be able to recommend sources in your part of the world. You are in the right place though for help. Don

Re: (sort of) new member, just outside of phila with a hotdog pu

You might try ordering a spray can from http://www.automotivetouchup.com/choose ... earch.y=11 they list a "Medium Blue" as a color for 1970 Subaru (that agrees with the chart above). If that matches then you have your paint code.
