Hey guys! Well (obviously) I am a newbie and glad to be able to finally post! I am Anthony and live in San Jose, CA.
I purchased this, my first Subie- a 1969 van. It needs some work, but I'm looking forward to the challenge...well, sorta. I am new to these cars but not to wrenching on cars.
Luckily, it seems that my van has no rust damage and only a few small dents in it.
I have compiled a short list of parts I need. I will post these in the other areas as well, but since I have the stage here goes:

*Reverse light
*Driver side sliding window catch (and glass, if you got it!)
*Engine door with complete hinge assemblies and lock
*Front bumper in good condition
*Rear bumper in good condition
*Tail lights
*Set of 4 hubcaps
*Top clearance lights
*Ignition switch
*Complete set of locks with keys
*Steering column cover
*Sun visors
*Front and Rear coutersy lights
*Window seals
*Wiper bezels with nuts
*Gas cap
*Rear hatch hinges
*Rear hatch T-handle assembly
*Rear hatch assembly thingy that keeps the rear door open


That's it for now! See, pretty short, right?

The book of reprints will keep you busy for awhile reading about what is availble for the vans. Your list looks typical for most van owners, some parts of which are very-very tough items to find. I need most of those parts you listed.....and, wish I had some extras to offer.

I have been reading up on the BOR. Man, there is a LOT of info there!!! I am excited about getting it up and running, but scared about trying to find parts. I lucked out and my brother-in-law found and bought me a carb for my birthday. Now all that is left is...well...everything! I'll post some pictures of it as-is shortly.
I have already contacted Paul about the lenses. That's a great start and thanks for providing that.

Billy Paul in Florida has reproduced the lenses for the interior lights
( I think I read that in the last newsletter) and is trying to reproduce the steering column covers.

I use 1980 Suabru 1600cc GL engine oil filler caps for van gas caps. I've had to drill a tiny hole in the center to for gas tank venting.

The '70s - '80 4-cyl Subaru oil cap is identical to the 360 gas cap. Stant # is SO-93, available just about anywhere.

You should not need to drill a hole in the cap to vent it. The 360 had a solid cap, the vent was thru a steel nipple with a plastic hose on it, to the right of the gas cap on the sedan tank - and thru a series of connected hoses on the van tank.
