Hello everyone, my name is Mike Turner I live beautiful South Lake Tahoe, CA. I was looking for a project and came upon a white 1969 Subaru 360 van. The van came with some extra body parts and a seized engine. The van is in good condition and needs love like any project. About a month following, I was looking for parts, and came upon another 360 van. This van is customized and complete. I plan on restoring the white one to stock and updating the paint and interior to the customized van.

Mike - Welcome to The Club!
If you didn't order the Book of Reprints when
you joined, it's a good thing to have and will
answer at least 95% of the questions you ever
have about the history, repair, and maintenance
of your vans.

Mike:
Welcome to the club! Good looking van. I feel it is my place to tell you however that every new club member who comes on board with two vans must sell one of them to an existing club member without one who lives two states to the north. Since I just happen to live in Washington I would be happy to drive down and pick it up from you. Just let me know when it will be convenient.

Mike:
Carl got it partly right when he gave you that advice; here's what he was actually trying to say: club policy requires that whenever a newby (that's you) joins the club with more than one 360, he is obligated to share with the club members who don't yet have enough 360s to fill their needs. Furthermore, in order to maintain and minimize rust on the vehicle, it is also club policy that the vehicle you release should go to a 360 enthusiast who lives in a mild climate (like Southern California.) Coincidentally, I happen to need a van and I live in a very mild climate. I'm sure you will do the right thing and meet with the Subaru 360 Club's policies. How soon should I expect arrival?
Sincerely,
Roger Ward
P.S. Welcome to the club! We will try to be helpful as you build your remaining van.

That van used to belong to Mort Smith. Don Harper customized it in the 80's. It used to sport scooter front tires an expansion chamber, reed valves of some type.

Hi Mike, and welcome to the Club, from downunder!
All previous posts saying that all previous posts are inaccurate are inaccurate.....
Living in the World's most isolated capital city, we are most needy of
any Subaru 360 here!
