Ebay Question

I just looked up "Subaru 360" on ebay and see there are 38 pages of stuff that won't fit the car: disc brake calipers, 15" hubcaps, 16 pc seat cover sets. etc. Does anyone know if there's a way to actually access parts for the 360 without scrolling through 38 pages of bullshit?

3 things you need to do first. 1-click on 200 items per page 2-click on gallery view 3-place quotes on "subaru 360"

Then I usually search as ["subaru 360" -cover -universal]
the [-cover] takes out all the car cover items [-universal] takes out universal parts

I went from 1,774 items to only 32

Wow. That's awesome. I didn't know you could filter like that. I've been looking on Ebay for a few days too. I wonder how many of the 15" plastic hubcaps for the Subaru 360 get sold. Or radiators, etc...

I'll have to try that method - my filter went something like this:

-Legacy -Forester -Liberty -LED -WRX -Impreza -cover -Tomica -Ebbro -Arri -Hasegawa (etc., etc..)

You'd leave the last four in if you are after models, but methinks G.D's filter is a much better option..... thanks!

Cheers,

Ian

Don't forget to narrow it down too
go to "ebay motors" and then "auto parts and accessories"

I think that most Subaru 360 owners can recognize parts that are not meant on the car, despite what an ad may say. I think those ads are sort of "ebay spam" - they use the same ad over and over and just substitute the make and model of the car, without considering appropriateness.

Ha, yeah, I assumed that a 360 owner wouldn't buy something that wasn't for their car (like a radiator). I just wonder how they can afford to put up ads for pruducts that don't actually exist.

Unfortunately the way it works is that the seller, when filling out the listing form, is presented with options as soon as they choose the category "Parts & Accessories". The seller then clicks off all of the models that their part "fits".

So - they of course click every car ever made, including Subaru 360.

It's an issue of lazy sellers.

I've considerd getting a thermostat (fits Subaru 360) to hang from my rearview mirror.
