These Vans are so cool. I just bought one, it got shipped in last week, but the tailgate fell off during transportion. Very bummed! Needs a tailgate and windshield.
Hope to talk to you all soon.

Nice to meet you.
Yes, the tailgate is lost somewhere on the I-5, thanks to the shippers! I may have to build one using composites.
I will see you at the Micro show in portland, with or with my van.

Great!

Here is the latest info...

The 4th annual Great Pacific Northwest Mini & Microcar gathering is Sat. June 14th 2008 @ Portland International Raceway

This is an all day event. 8-5 pm. After meet drive starts about 4pm.

The Great Pacific Northwest Mini-Micro car show is drawing near!........less than 30 days away to be exact!

To date, we have about 45-50 cars and double that amount of people signed up. I'm glad we have lots of room. I don't know where all the cars are coming from, .....they seem to be popping out of the woodwork so to speak, it is fantastic! The more the merrier! So, pass on this invitation to curious micro and mini car folk. Some really unique and fun cars are already registered. I can assure you this will be the best and biggest NW meet yet!

I know there are many people planning to attend. Spectators are most welcome! Please register online for FREE at http://www.mphspecialties.com even if you are not bringing a car and planning to spectate only. We are trying to plan activities and food and need to get an idea of how many will attend. And, of course, if you are lucky enough to own a Micro or Mini car, by all means, please sign up and show it off !

A micro-fantastic fun filled day is not that far away!

This years gathering will again be at Portland International Raceway on the lush green grass / car show area South of the bleachers in the grove of willow shade trees. Like last year, the national Oregon Motorcycle Road Race Association (OMRRA) motorcycle races will be held on the PIR racetrack while the GPNW show takes place in the grass. It is the gracious sharing OMRRA motorcycle club racers that allow this show to be held at no cost to Mini and Micro car aficionados. (A big round of thanks to them!.... hug a motorcycle racer !) The GPNW Mini-microcar show admission is a free gift with online registration, otherwise expect to pay day of event gate admission, usually 10-15$. per person.

Last year's pictures available here: http://www.microcar.org/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=9501

The anticipation of this years event is very exciting, and shaping up to be the best NW Micro-Mini car event ever!

Last year we had 44 cars in attendance, a new record. This years registration tally has already exceeded last years record!

We have a "no concours critical microcar judging policy". We have enough room for trailers... So, bring your micro-projects and micro-beaters...show them off !!

Every year thus far, the mini-micro car attendance has doubled...... how long can this possibly continue?...you may wonder...
(as does your host).

You'll just have to show up and see!

2 New features for this year are a "lunch POTLUCK " and "MICROCAR" rides!

Secret destination after meet drive TBA. (After meet drive may include a dinner stop depending on popularity concensus)

*General notes of interest.*

Microcar volunteers, helpers, and ride givers (car owners willing to give rides) are needed.

Potluckers, please bring whatever dish you want for 8-10 people. Potluck is for lunch.

"BEATERBILL" from the "BEATERVILLE CAFE" is rumored to be BBQ' -ing bratwursts for your Microcar Potluck gormet tastebuds.

Everyone please bring your own drinks.( In case you forget drinks, there are water fountains nearby, and a concession stand to buy drinks in the track infield. Outside alcohol not permitted, beer is offered from concession stand)

Spectators NOT bringing cars are welcome!, please register.

FREE ADMISSION with online registration. ( online registration @ http://www.mphspecialties.com now open )

Otherwise expect to pay event gate admission.

Ebb - contact Larry Perrault in ID, he might have one of those, he has/had a lot of van body parts. See Roster for info, he has no e-mail that I know of.
