Hi, I just recently bought a 69 van out of NH in November and join the club recently. The van needs alot of work and will keep me busy for some time. I got it running about a week ago and drove it down the street, only to second gear it has no brakes. The kids down the street came running out waving (I think they thought it was a small Icecream truck) and someone in a Acura TL stopped in the middle of the street and was hanging out there window. It was great. My plans where to swap the engine with a 1300 hayabusa motorcycle engine I have but for now I just want to get it going and drive it a bit. Well I'm sure everone will be seeing alot of me on this forum and many thanks to everone for all the information on here. Hope to meet many people soon.

There are a lot of good guys on these forums, so you are in good hands. Make sure to post lots of info on the Hayabusa motor swap. I'm interested in doing a crazy motor swap myself, but won't get to that point for a while. You get to be the adventurous one!

Thanks Anthony, once I get going on the swap I'll take lots a picures and document everything. First i'm going to get it moving and stopping to drive it a bit then after a while i'll do it. I'm just finishing up my 124 fiat spyder with a turbo rotary engine out of a 87 RX7.
