Hello!

#1 Post by Atticuswilde04 »

Hey there everyone. My names Rebekah. I’ve been a huge fan of these little guys for a while but I still don’t own one. I live in the south so finding them has been a little hard to do.

You could run a free ad in the next Newsletter which goes

Welcome to the club. What part of the south are you talking about? I'm in WV and have some for sale.

DB1 is my 360 Yacht car or Jolly. Basically a 360 with the roof cut off and doors discarded. A fiberglass cover for all the exposed cut metal. Mine had the fiberglass closure fared into the body work. DB2 is my 360 Cheesburger dune buggy project. It was a prototype joint venture between penny's dept store and an Indianapolis 500 driver Bill Cheesburough (sp). Bill bought sambar chassis from japan and had the fiberglass body made here in the states. The plan was for Bills dune buggy operation to make them and sell them through Penny's dept store to take advantage of the south west dune buggy craze. It flopped when penny's opted for a 5 hp single rider version. My body has a floor so it's the real thing. I also have a frame from a 360 sambar to mount it to. Just need a windshield seats and some time, some paint, a windshield and I'd probably have it on the road.
