New 360 pick-up owner in OC
Hi Everyone!
My name is Solomon and I just picked up a 360 pickup - my first move into the world of 360's! I just moved to San Clemente from northern CA where I fell in love with 360 pickups after walking by a red and black one that was parked at a local restaurant. I made an offer on it, but the owner didn't bite, and shortly after, it disappeared (wonder if anyone in the club picked it up?).
But past is past, and now I am finally the proud owner of a pick-up that will be awesome for cruising along the coast with surfboards in tow. It still needs some work and since I am far from a car expert, expect some BASIC questions (even some so basic they aren't covered in the BOR).
Finally, my hat is off to this community for the level of knowledge and assistance that is provided. This is really what gave me the confidence to jump into the deep end of the pool - so a huge THANK YOU in advance! And I'm definitely excited to see that Ed is a Tucson resident (Go Cats!)...
Here is a picture (one of the only times this looks larger than another truck?): http://s1319.photobucket.com/user/solom ... sort=3&o=0

Welcome from me & Smokey, you find looks good. And you posted a pic. Will be watching your progress.

Welcome aboard, Solomon! You'll enjoy your truck and the club, too. The first order of business is to get the truck to be absolutely roadworthy and dependable, so you never end up walking home. Finding parts is a little tough but there's always an answer. Then you can worry about the cosmetics.

I'd love to see the pics of your truck, but that link is asking for me to log in first.

Welcome. Forewarning, don't try to muscle in on my position of the person with the lowest technical/mechanical ability. Seriously, welcome to the Wonderful World of 360's.

Welcome to the forum. I also have a truck but it needs a lot of work. If you come up with any extra parts let me know. I'll also help all I can.

Welcome Solomon, it is great to have another pickup come into our corral. I look forward to following its transformation from a frog into a prince.

Try to make it to the micro car show in Pomona this month. Seeing Roger's truck is worth the drive all by itself.
Re: New 360 pick-up owner in OC
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I'm not sure if we will make it up to Pomona this month, but trying to make it happen. I included a picture for those who can't access the site.

Solomon - welcome to The Club!
Did you go to UofA?
If you ever get to Tucson let me know and I'll
make sure we can get together.
If not before next April 10-12, the SW Unique

will enjoy it, bring your piokup if you can.

Hi Ed - I did go to UA and loved life in Tucson! I've been back a handful of times, and I will certainly let you know if I make it down there. It would be awesome to see your 360's.
