Hello, I am a new member
Hi every body,
My name is Hamid Bordbar, I am 51 years old and I have been in auto collision and restoration for 32 years. I have my owen auto body shop and a restoration facility in Oklahoma City. I love old imports and old American muscle cars. I just finished a full restoration on 1969 Alfa Duetto and started on a 1969 360 pick up. I have a small collection of old cars, but none of them has excited me like this OLD YELLER " she will be custom tri code yellow pearl code, #NQ on 2012 ford". All body work and most of the paint work is done and frame has been sand blasted and painted but on the mechanical parts of it I run to a brick wall. I did't know the parts on this old rascals are so hard to find. I am a new member and glad I found you guys, I see a small light at the end of the tunnel, may be this one will not be stored at a corner of the shop and covered up. "I have a couple of them like that". That would really break my heart. Any how God bless all of you and keep those old ones shine and rolling.
Hamid

Welcome to the club. Hopefully we will be able to help. We love to see um spurting smoke and rolling down the road. It tends to bring smiles to the faces of on lookers. Drivers too.

Hamid,
To post pics:
Go to tinypic.com,
* click on "choose file" (then navigate to your piccy on your computer or wherever it is located),
* leave "File type" as "Image",
* in the "Resize" pulldown menu select "Message Board (640 x 480)", then click the "Upload Now!" button.
* It will get you to go through a "captcha" sequence (visual.. or audio "puzzle" - for security), then upload should occur.
It may take a little time depending on the size of image, etc.. All you do then is copy the "IMG code for Forums and
Message Boards" link and paste it in to your Subie Board message .....
Voila!
Cheers,
Ian

That's looking really sweet! I had no Idea the bed actually unbolted from the cab. That is just so cool. You could make a flatbed with an engine hump. I'm sure that would get even more comments. I hope I can get spud's paint that good. His body deserves a good paint job. Way to go. Great color, what is it?

Re: Hello, I am a new member
THE PICS DOESN'T SHOW THE POP OF THE PEARL !! THE COLOR CODE IS IN THE OPENING POST
Re: Hello, I am a new member
WOW!!! That is VERY, VERY SWEET!! I can see the pearl qualities in the paint....I'm sure it's more visible outside in natural light as well as in person.... but I can tell it's a pearl finish. NICE!!!

Re: Hello, I am a new member
Hi and many thanks to every body spatially to Wayne for taking time to take all those great pictures, that was really nice of him, I think he is a great asset to this club. As I said before
I am doing some other project, but none of them excite me more than this old rascal. I can't
wait to put him on the road again. I am desperately in need of some parts, if anybody have some parts that I can use PLEASE let me know, and this is a list of parts I could use right away:
Front bumper with the over riders
Front emblems "Wayne promise to get me one" but I still need the star
Shock absorbers
Air filter
Spare wheel and jack and the tools
Original hubcaps
door belt wheather strip "goes between door glass and outer door shell"
Seat belts
Again many thanks for all your nice comments and God bless all of you and your 360
Hamid

I have some blue truck seat belts.
If you have the old air filter, it's not hard to put a new element in it; I made a YouTube video about it:

Garm - great video, thanks for showing how to do the air filter!
For members not near a NAPA there are a couple of other numbers in the BOR, the procedure is the same, and it's a lot easier to understand when you can see the video than reading the article!
