Greetings to the group.

I've ended up with a 1970 360 that my father bought new and I spent my weekends in growing up. First car I ever drove (and ran into a tree) and I think its time to get her running again. It was running and parked about 12 years ago under cover, so I expect it will be quite a project.

Anyone near Orlando with experience?

I have the bor now but not the membership list

I guess first purchases for me will be to find some new tires and a replacement fuel tank. Tires are trashed and the fuel tank died many years ago and I don't even know where it might be. (anyone have a pic of a tank)

Any suggestions? I'm going to have to drag it from where it sits to put on the trailer to get it to the shop

Be aware that modern radials may be too "fat" to fit in the trunk up front.

When you use those suggested tires, do you use tubes? or run that tubeless?

Always use tubes because of the split rim, even with "tubeless" tires.

I have used 145x10 radials with 3.50/400x10 tubes with 90 degree valves from HONDA MOTORCYCLE dealers for more than 30 years on all my 360s and never had any prioblems.

I'm even using those tubes with Yokohama A048 tires (pretty fat), they work fine.

I just joined, but don't have a 360 yet.

I've got lots of experience with VW's and some with classic minis.

I'm in Davenport, just outside of Orlando. Would love the chance to check out a 360. If you need some help wrenching, just PM me
