New reference section

#1 Post by subaru360nut »

There is a yellow bell on the new reference section but it says I am not authorized to look at it.

What do I need to do to get authorized?

I might be able to help with this since I have all the original manuals.

Yeah, I get the same thing when I try to go to the reference section...

I see the section and can get in just fine.
I didn't set it up... Jon must have done this?

It probably needs a kick start

I'll dig around.... see if I can get it working....

As Ed said - it's working now! :D [you probably never had a problem due to your having Moderator privileges!]

I envisaged just an exchange of information about what publications popped up from time to time involving the Subaru 360 (naturally!), IOW, title of book (or magazine), ISBN, author (or journalist), type of review or info, price if applicable, where member bought it from, etc., etc.. I have a pretty comprehensive list of magazine reviews already, including a good deal of Nostalgic Hero mags from Japan (the ones with the BEAUTIFUL photography, which should interest you, Jamie!).

I have a few lined up already to submit, but am pretty busy in new job at present.

Cheers,

Ian

I posted the first post as a reserved spot in the thread for BOR info.. ut I realized that that is only necassary with v-bulletin and not phpbb because we have 'Sticky' options too.

the area is for reference materials of all kinds not just the BOR.. I was in arush and didnt kick on the permissions properly.. sorry guys and thanks jamie for fixing that.
