ok, so I've noticed in the last week or so that every other time I refresh a page half of the user's icons are gone... the little custom ones we each have next to our names... I can refresh and the other half come back, then refresh again to repeat...

here's an example:

when the pic doesn't load I see the server is showing this message:

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

so not sure what's going on there... maybe this server is hosted in a cluster and one of the servers is failing?

Cannot duplicate it here, on 3 comps, a laptop and an iPad. Sorry!

I know nothing about computers, but it could be a mechanical problem. Since your computer is "down under" maybe your posts come in upside down in the northern hemisphere

That wasn't me Ed, it was Spiffy reporting the problem. He just used my icon as an example methinks!

Southern Hemisphere!) is "Spiffing" !!

weird... I wonder if it's something specific to my work network... it's not my browser since it acts weird on the couple I've tried...

I'll have to try it at home and see if I get the same result...

Books1, To make things easier I tried using text that I typed here but it didn't "stick" when I pasted it into my reply. So I am sorry but you will have to do what you can to keep the blood from rushing to your head when reading posts here.

If yours is missing check if its here-> Recovered Avatars

Copy it to your machine and then manually upload it once again and it should apply to your account.
