Hello All,

Just picked up 68 or 69 Sambar pickup and Im excited to meet some like minded vintage Subaru enthusiast.

Ive restored a few classic American vehicles before but never any classic Japanese vehicles, until now...

Currently own a 1962 Ford Econoline Pickup (giant COE sambar pickup), 1964 Ford Thunderbird Convertible, 1969 Alfa Romeo GTV, and a 1982 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce as well as the 1968 (maybe 1969) Subaru Sambar Pickup.

Thanks
Howard

Thanks for the kind words guys. If anyone wants to know it’s the blue one, from the 3 Sambar pickups for sale on Craigslist.

Just been tagging and bagging parts since its arrival.

Just barely fits on the lift.

If you are ever in the area (of Arcadia, CA) and want to see both of mine, let me know. One is a show car (sort of), is painted yellow and is the one I drive when I want to show off. The other is tricked out as a Tiki Truck with a South Seas look. (Sometimes I drive the Tiki Truck to show off, too.) Welcome to the club!

I will definitely take you up on that, thanks for the invite. Always on the road and pass by your neck of the woods often.

My address is: 144 W. Norman Ave, Arcadia, 01007. (Two blocks south of Camino Real, one block west of Santa Anita Avenue.) 626) 447-7130.
I'm retired so am generally available -- but call first, in case I'm at the doctor's office. The best thing is to call the day before and let us know you're coming.

If you need one, I have a mechanic who will come to you and who knows the 360 inside and out. I don't know what he's charging now so you'll need to work that out ahead of time. His name is Joe and he lives in Santa Ana.

Roger Ward.

Can’t wait to see the pair.

Definitely going to need some help from Sir Joe, plus the truck is currently located in Santa Ana too. Thanks for contact too.
