New 360 Owner in NE PA

#1 Post by jcimino »

My name is Jim and I am new to the club. My brother and I had a 360 Sedan when we were teenagers and had a lot of fun with it. I have been looking for one off and on for the last few years and finally purchased one a couple of weeks ago. I have been in the automotive industry all my life. I am retired from teaching Automotive Technology and am a Master Technician. I am looking forward to putting the 360 back on the road and will be looking for a lot of advice from the club members. I will do my best to not drive anyone nuts with my questions, but I will take any advice that I can find.

Welcome aboard! After a while you'll notice we're all a little Subie nuts. Nice pics and looks like a real gem to start with.

There were a few things he said on ebay that I knew where not true before I purchased it. Paint was one of them and the interior was the other. Although the body on the car is pretty solid, you can tell that it is repainted because the rubber molding around the headlights is painted white. The interior is red and gold and I think that red was the only available color for that. I bought it because it does seem to be in good restorable condition and it was not too far away.

The money saved on shipping can be applied to the resto! The descriptions in adds are not always true, some sellers don't know & others don't care. The GOOD thing is that you have it & are doing something with it. Hopefully it will be back on the road with a happy driver!!
