New member from the chilly Northwest
Hello everyone. I was told that I should introduce myself when I came onto the forum so here goes;
My name is Carl Jones and I live in Sumner, WA. I have an Ultra Van (google it) and am looking for a vehicle to tow behind it. The 360 seems like just the vehicle, light, can seat a couple of people or more, easy on gas and potentially easy to tow and just as funky as my Ultra Van. The UV is Corvair powered, is aluminum and is a 1968. I'm not afraid of a little work to make the match work, but I don't want a basket case. If you know of someone who has a 360 that they would like to see go to a good home, let me know.

Welcome to The Club!
I think a 360 van would be perfect for you, paint it to match your Ultra Van and tow it like a "lifeboat"
If you get one I can send you the details on the towbar I made for my van in 1980 and still use to tow it to shows (drive it locally every day)

Welcome aboard! You'll like the club; the members will do whatever they can to help (although we're limited by the lack of parts.) I'd like to have a UV to go with my Rampside.

Re: New member from the chilly Northwest
Thanks for the welcome folks.
I will be looking for a tow bar Ed, no matter which 360 I finally get so I will be in touch when that happens.
The Ultra Van is as unique as the 360 as there are only about 50 of the 350 or so still on the road. You can find the club web pages and lots of photos (even some for sale) at http://www.corvair.org/chapters/ultravan/
As I get the Ultra Van finished I will be passing thru Spokane and may just stop in for that ride.
Thanks again for the welcome.

You like your vehicles rear-engined and air-cooled!
That is a really sharp motor home.

A spyder motor would tow that BIG 360 van with ease!

Wow! Welcome neighbor I live in Buckley. Planning on keeping my 360, but the forum will help you with finding one. Good luck from close by and what a cool looking van!
