Hello,
I'm Anthony and I have been looking to purchase a 360 Truck for quite some time. Been browsing for a few years but never made the commitment. I have always wanted to rebuild one of these and make it into a Safari/Desert machine. I have a goal to drive one of these trucks from sunny Southern California to the Southern tip of South America (Chile/Argentina). On the bucket list for the next 5 years! I've driven from London to Cameroon, Africa in a 68 Bug and South America was next. Hope to get some good info out of everyone here!
I attached some Africa pics from my rally.
So fresh and so clean. Only one car fire at this point!
Crossing into Mauritania from the Sahara. This was the mine fields we had to cross, we were guided.
Lady Deathtrap had lost an eye resulting from a victorious battle with some epic pot holes.
My daily ritual, rain or shine, tune the engine by ear.
Some lunch being prepared in Nigeria while I fixed the steering, again.

Thanks for the welcome. In these cases of adventures in ill-equipped vehicles, I am fully aware of the headache I am creating. Guess I am a glutton for punishment. I will take a look at that video. Thanks!
