new member in need of parts

#1 Post by icetruck » 10 years ago

morning all. i just joined this a.m after purchasing a 69 360 pickup with 3200 HARD miles on it. it was the ice delivery vehicle inside the denver broncos mile high stadium. so a small company vehicle being driven inside a concrete jungle equals A LOT of scratches and dents and missing parts. the vehicle is a basketcase but appears to be complete mechanically with the exception of the generator. but there is a lot of small parts missing. so here is a list of the stuff i know im missing. as the project goes further im sure there will be other stuff too. anyone out there that can assist in the finding of these parts please contact me with location, price, shipping etc. thank you.

nippon-denso 27000-116 generator
exterior door handles
all three mirrors
headliner
wiper arms and wipers
windshield
tires and tubes
emblems
hubcaps
ignition
keys
front turn signals
rear brake lights
visors
mudflaps
also what kind of oil should i use. what kind of brake fluid should i use, what kind of trans fluid should i use, what kind of diff fluid should i use.
as you can see i have jumped into this with both feet and have no clue. i just know this is a cool little rare car and id like to be ready by august so we can attend the micro car meet in chicago.

I have been, and will be posting parts on e-bay. I gave up trying to put prices on items, no one wanted to pay enough to cover my time or shipping. Thanks,
Rick

Rick,

Note that the member "icetruck" posted a total of 6 times on this forum, all on the same day almost two years ago. Doubtful he saw your post - sorry.

Thanks Steve, I almost sent him a big long answer until I read your post and looked at when he posted his want list.

Maybe want lists should expire and be deleted after a couple of years, then if the member is still a member ans still needs stuff he can post a revised one.

After reading the other quotes the meet must have been Chicago 2010 witch I attended. And I didn't see it there so he must not have gotten it ready? Whats Micro Image's saying only the strong...........???????
