Jerry - welcome to The Club! Your sedans were made in 1970, but sold and were first licensed in 1971 which is why your titles say 1971 - but do not argue with the DMV, just know that the parts for your cars are 1969-70 (some '68 parts are different) The least expensive way to get your seats upholste...

Re: Sedan Mudflaps
'70 was last year of 360 sedan production, R-2 replaced 360 same year. Also, truck & van body was changed mid/'70, to non-suicidal doors among a few other things. The reason there are some '71 Subaru 360s is that they were leftovers sold and first licensed in 1971. But anyone with a '71 should u...

Welcome to The Club! In 1979 I sold the body shell of a van that I had stripped for spare parts to a guy who made it s dragster with a Chevy 409 engine behind his driver's seat. So you will have to beat that to have the fastest 360 van. I used some of the parts on my good van which I drove every day...

The BOR will show you which of the 4 distributors you have. ANY of the 4 can be used in ANY Subaru 360 engine, but the parts are not interchangeable from one of the 4 to another. If the '68 (3-speed) has the HITACHI on P. 100 see the CLASSIFIEDS in the current newsletter for points etc. Points for H...

Re: need help identifying exact year of my mini so i can get parts.vin# k153L2288
I checked the master list and this is the second lowest VIN I have for a pickup. That means it is PROBABLY a '68, if it has a 3-speed transaxle it is definitely a '68. Some items are different for the '68 but look at P. 27, 28, and 100 in the BOOK OF REPRINTS and you will see all the points and cond...

Rob - welcome to The Club! Thanks for VIN, new to my master lis.
Your VIN says it is a '69 (some parts changed from '69) but fairly
early '69 since most has glass rear windows.
Nearest VIN K111l 4253 is also owned by a member in FL,
nexr K111l 4265 is in IN.

The orange car in the pix way up the page is a Cheesebourger, made in Tucson on a pre-68 Sambar chassis. If a dune buggy has wipers that park to the RIGHT it is on a Young chassis. If they park LEFT it's a sedan chassis. That is the one item that gives it away regardless of seats, front hood, or oth...

That's why the 450 was phased out, EK-32 had more horsepower and torque.
If you could find an EK-33 that would REALLY make it faster.
But mill 0.050" off the heads of your EK-32 and you will gain torque.

Welcome to The Club! You have a very rare vehicle, the history is

Either 24 or 30 were made, and only half of those were sold to the public!
But mechanically they are 360 sedans.

It is not a good thing to run a 360 (or any engine) with no air filter
