Re: Hi my name is Ted in So Cal
Welcome to The Club! I had a 360 van for 40+ years, drove it every day. It never let me down. I also had a '59 Microbus back in the '60s. 1200 CC, 36 hp. Twelve of us, all adults, were riding in it on the Garden State Pkwy at 60 mph. I thought to myself - 12 people, 36 hp. That's 3 hp apiece. If we ...

If you are over about 5' 10" hold out for a van.
You can tip the front seat back with longer
extensions on the sides for more headroom if
you are tall. Pickup cannot be altered in this
way as the seat already contacts the back
wall of the cab

Welcome to The Club! In 1993 we tried to start an "Honor Roll" of Subaru dealers who still had Subaru 360s, 360 parts, and especially those who had a 360 in the showroom for historical purposes on the 25th anniversary of the first 360s being imported by SOA. We found none at the time! But ...

Scott - I think you can still get the BOR on a CD

I use my printed version all the time and I printed
hundreds of them for members before 2009, but I
don't have any spares left and the copier I had died

The truck I had from 1983-1996 was
tricked out as a fire truck, you can find
it in the member's 360s section, it did
not have decals on the doors so that
one in the photo is not it unless it was
"redecorated" by the current owner in NH.

If it does not turn easily (ALWAYS TURN

see P. 350 which tells how to recondition

Steve - see P. 360 in BOOK OF REPRINTS
for a source of new brake flex lines.
It's not just cracks on the outside that make
these risky to use but plugging inside due
to decades of contaminated brake fluid.
If you can blow thru them with compressed
air you can tell if they are restricted inside.
