Trevor - welcome to the Club!
Every time I see the Subaru ad that says "You'll never forget your first Subaru" I smile, because my first Subaru, a '70 van that we bought in Feb. '75, is still in the driveway and I still drive it every day!

Eli - I do not have the paint code. I painted my pu red, and tricked it out as the World's Smallest Street-legal Fire Truck. If you want original color best bet is to have them match the inside, but painting it another color will not affect the value of the truck.

Every original pickup I have seen that was imported by SOA was blue. Someone told me once that they had seen a tan one, but didn't know if it was a repaint. All the vans and sedans were off-white but the Youngs were available in TWO (2) COLORS, red and yellow.

I'd do the mechanical work first, then you could drive it to the body shop.
