Re: Wannabe 360 owner
What would your budget be for a 360 shell, no motor / trans and in need of glass. I know of one a guy had about a year ago. Not sure on the rust issues. The building it was in burned down but it only suffered some damage from heat, paint blistered in a couple areas. I was looking for engine parts at...

Re: Wannabe 360 owner
Welcome, I think the two will go well together since the 360 is powered by a snowmobile engine originally. I have often thought the comet clutch would greatly reduce the drag on the motor compared to the transmission, I always get stuck on how to back it up with no reverse.

That's the one with the melted headlight surrounds. At first I thought you had some radical interior, then I noticed it was just a cat. Really doesn't seem too bad. It has the orange tint to it too, on the outside. I'm trying to figure out if my young was painte the current color in the factory or n...

Welcome, an impulse 360 buy, That's certainly not unheard of but many of us have not been so fortunate. "Decent interior and it runs with a clunk" To a lot of us your way ahead already. With the club, your elbo grease and some good advice you'll be loving it soon.

Welcome to the club, Wisdom is not measured by the initial purchase, it is measured in how many rare parts you destroy before you realize they are rare. Looks like it was well bought to me. But hey I'm a frequent shipper. Somewhere there are truckers telling stories about 360's I know they are.

That's looking really sweet! I had no Idea the bed actually unbolted from the cab. That is just so cool. You could make a flatbed with an engine hump. I'm sure that would get even more comments. I hope I can get spud's paint that good. His body deserves a good paint job. Way to go. Great color, what...

The autobahn? Always dreamed of driving without restriction. One of the motivations of owning a 360. Can't wait do drive it all out!!! Welcome to the club! Glad to have another or two 360's on the mend. Haven't been here long but was lucky enough to find a 360 that only needed brake work and a mild tune up to get going. I have been lucky enough to drive it around my parents yard. Of the six wheel cylinders 4 are leaking and the rub...

would you happen to know what the serial numbers are for the red white and blue cars? I am curious because neither of my cars have the emblem below the window and I noticed the red one and white one have different emblems. One of mine is a 69 and one is a 1970.

Is the rust only on the drivers side? If so I would think it was more a case of the roof or windshield leaking. Paint looks original and your out shell looks immaculate to me. Welding under the car beats welding of the outer body anyday. I would love to find a young in that shape. The wife would hat...

Metal can be replaced. My first restore was a 68 beetle. We called it "Fred's Ride" cause it was like the Flintstones car. You could push it without getting out. And when you opened both doors You had to lift them back up because the metal that joined the two door posts under the door was missing. I...
