Welcome, Fellow engineer here. I think after you get used to these cars you will appreciate the engineering that went into them. When you consider they took basically a snowmobile engine and used it to produce a cheap, small, light people mover that satisfied the market for which it was designed for...

Re: Hello from Orlando, FL!
Welcome, I do know of a van here in Wv. At least last year he still had it. The last time I talked to him. It is kind of a van in a box. He disassembled it to paint the body which he said had no rust. He had it painted but didn't like the color. So the project halted. It is supposed to be complete b...

I was thinking of the same Idea or two halo frames one front one back. I used my engine hoist to lift my shell to the top of the other shell, but it could have been used to mount the shell between two engine stands. Probably would need out riggers on the engine stands but maybe not.

Nice looking young. I happen to have one too. Body looks really good and unmolested. Nice find. Drop your oil pump before you go any farther. Re: New member here from SF Bay Area!
Welcome!
Nice looking GTR, wish my sti shined like that, then again if I ever quit driving it I'd have time to clean it up.
You won't get quite the throttle response from the van but you might get the same amount of attention and you'll be going slow enough to notice.
