Phil - the mistake was taking the oil pump apart. If you took out the "guide" bolt from the bottom do not try to reinstall it unless you are sure it is aligned (no ridge showing in the hole) or you can strip it and I have no spares of this part. But I still rebuild oil pumps and carbs so ...
