Re: Newbie from north of the 49th parallel
It looks like a heat shield for the exhaust manifold. Don't take my word for it though. I have about 10 minutes total working time into my truck
. Did yours come without a seat too?

Re: New member from Carlsbad,NM.
Wow, congrats on your gift and finding the club. There is a wealth of information and friendly people here. I just joined recently myself. I'm a bit envious of your truck. I have essentially the same truck except that it's in pieces and I keep finding that I'm missing silly little things like a fron...

Thanks Steven. I've already begun reading your resources. Great stuff! I've been jumping all over the BOR too. That's a lot of info for sure. I wish the parts were as easy to find as the information

Thanks again,
Bryan

Ha, yep, there are not too many of us around. I'm hoping he did O.K. on the bodywork. I used to do it myself a long time ago. I do know that it's more difficult to work this thin sheet metal especially on the larger flat panels. The last car I worked on with tthin metal was a Sunbeam Imp. It was dif...

Re: Ebay Question
Ha, yeah, I assumed that a 360 owner wouldn't buy something that wasn't for their car (like a radiator). I just wonder how they can afford to put up ads for pruducts that don't actually exist.

Re: Another new guy. Bryan in Boise, Idaho. Truck in a box :
Thanks everyone! Yeah, I like the chrome too. They have some rust spots but I think I can steel wool them and wax them every once in a while and they should be O.K. I may leave the wheels as is. I'm becoming more fond of cast aluminum and magnesium that's not polished out. I think I have about 6 or ...

Re: Ebay Question
Wow. That's awesome. I didn't know you could filter like that. I've been looking on Ebay for a few days too. I wonder how many of the 15" plastic hubcaps for the Subaru 360 get sold. Or radiators, etc...

Another new guy. Bryan in Boise, Idaho. Truck in a box :).
Hello all, I've been looking for a van for, like, 30 years or so. A friend had one 20 years ago and was supposed to trade me for my Scirocco but that never went through. A few weeks ago I found one on Craigslist. The pics that were posted were taken when the truck was intact. It wasn't when I got to...
