Sometimes Brian has been busy making a living, but I hope he gets the new members on the forum soon. I have campaigned hard on the face book 360 page to get them here. This is the place to be for serious or newbies 360ers to be. We need the forum to secede, not like some of the other Micro car ones ...

Hello It looks like someone was going to install an electric fuel pump... The factory vacuum fuel pump was good, except the check valve springs failed, I have had them reopped in stainless No wiring switches or relays. On the throttle linkage, someone used it for a tow hook.

Welcome from Norman Okla. I have wheel cyl cups on ebay & I use Apple Hydraulics to sleeve the cyls . The 360 needs some oil with the ether , I would drop & check the oil pump out for good measure.

Re: New owner in Connecticut.
Subaru 360's have some common brake problems, the master & wheel cylinders are aluminium & pit due to corrosion from water in them. The other problem is the brake linings that are bonded to aluminium shoes become unbonded due to corrosion also. The most common fix is to resleeve the M/C & wheel cyli...

Welcome to the club. That's a really nice Sambar. Great history. The most common problem with the Org Fuel pump was the check valve springs broke & it fail to pump fuel afterwards. Rob The 68's I think were the last year for plexiglass rear windows. Is it a 3 speed or 4 speed? If it's a 4 speed some one may have made a rear window from plastic, being unable to find a glass one. I have a extra glass one.

Welcome to the smoky 2 strokers. Please post us some pics... We like to see new 360s!! As an old flat tracker , my last short tracker was a Yamaha 250 Ascot with more horse power than a Subie !!!! 37 1/2 out of the crate.... But that was many years ago.
