Jeremy, we are only 8 miles apart down K7!

That map is pretty cool.

Great, another Bryan with a "Y.". Congratulations on the new truck. Looks like a really good start. I'd like a car with most of the hard bodywork done.

Re: New Van Member from Kansas City

Nice! I'm just over in Shawnee (yes, Kansas) with a 360 sedan. I'm on the hunt for a van though! What a fun ride that will be.

Re: Hello from Spokane WA!

Welcome! Congrats on the find!

I lived in Spokane for several years. Lived on the South Hill a half block from Manito Park. I miss our little bungalow there!

Re: New Member Minnesota

Awesome. I've been to a few rallies and there's nothing cooler than 200+ mopeds cruising through town blowing smoke and making noise. It's quite a sight.

Re: New Member Minnesota

I rode in a weekly moped gang with a guy that had no brakes, just lag bolts screwed deep into his military boots, sparks would shower 30 feet from his soles. It was impressive.

Re: New Member Minnesota

Wow, If I had that van I would totally keep all of the business logos on there. They are really neat. Have fun and welcome to the club!

By the way, I pity you as you start on your brake job journey. These cars are great but that project is a total buzzkill.

Re: New member from Elsloo, Nederland, Europe

Nice car, but to be honest, I'm actually more interested in the moped on the right! She's a beauty. I love vintage pedal mopeds. Welcome back to the club.

Welcome. Did you buy the one off of CL that had the pictures with the huge dog? I thought about that one myself but I didn't want to make the drive.

Re: Greetings from Kansas

Pfffft. Locked up there too. I may just try and tear this thing down. I started a post in the engine section to get this in to the proper area for those that may search in the future.

Re: Greetings from Kansas

The engine is already out of the car and just sitting on the floor. Looks like I can still look for the shaft coming out of the front though. I'll check that out as I'm not too sure about the condition of the rest of the unit so I'm trying to narrow down my problems. Thanks for the advice.

Re: Greetings from Kansas

Thanks Ed. After flipping through 346 pages I found the article. They're still stuck pretty good. I was able to peek in to the exhaust outlet and saw that the piston with the cracked dome also has two broken rings. It just keeps getting better and better! How can I make sure that I am not in gear as...

Re: Greetings from Kansas

I'm not sure of the VIN's on any of the cars as only the Young is actually mine. Yes, the rust is only on the driver's side as the window was left open on the car on that side. The car only shows 10000 miles on it. I'm leaning toward picking up the white one and then swapping the engine. I like the ...

Greetings from Kansas

Hi everyone. I bought a 1970 Young a month or two ago and it is currently in storage until I sell some mopeds to make room for it in my garage. I love these cars and I have to have one but I may have gotten in over my head with this one! I finally got over there today to look it over more closely an...
