THe Good thing is that the subi is so little I can get away with a 10khw pack and still have a viable electric car. Secondly, theb price of lithium is coming way down!

I have large stainless steel patches in the floors and where the forward engine cover used to be. I used the same shaft I have now, but with a chain drive instead. I never got a chain guard install...

Yes, I made a shaft with all the same main bearing, snap ring and clutch end dimensions. The fan end is about 3 inches longer, if I did it again, I think it would be made longer. It is cut for a key, It should have been splined, but that was expensive. The bearings sit sealed in an oil bath now. -Tony
